- The Emergency & Trauma Department has a team of physicians and surgeons available round the clock to cater to any type of emergencies supported by pathological laboratories, CT scanners, MRI, X-Ray facilities, pharmacy, operation theatres, Cath Lab and ICU beds.
- The department operates on the principle of clinical internal consultations between physicians, surgeons, orthopaedicians, anaesthetists, paediatrician, gynaecologist, cardiologist, neurologist, neuro surgeon and Intensivists
- Emergency department includes a minor OT, plaster room, triage area, trauma bay, plaster room, cardiac resuscitation bed & paediatric/ neo-natal resuscitation bed.
- It is equipped with Ventilators, cardiac monitors, advanced defibrillators and all other lifesaving equipment &instruments
- The department ensures Zero infection policy & ‘Golden Hour’ concept.
- The department is supported by the surgical departments comprising of 4 OTs including 2 modular class 100–OTs with laminar airflow and HEPA filters giving round the clock services with zero infection
- Each OT having hermetically sealed hand /foot operated sensor doors, seamless anti-static conductive flooring, ceiling suspended laminar air flow system, and control panel
- State of art Motorised OT tables with cool LED OT lights
- GE-Datex -Ohmeda aspire view anaesthesia workstation
- 6 bedded Pre-Op and Post-Op care unit
- Supported by round the clock advanced CSSD services
- Mobile ICU ambulance network with advanced and basic life support
Services Offered:
The Center is equipped to handle all emergencies ranging from minor to major medical and accident emergencies, including:
- Surgical
- Medical
- Emergency care for elderly / handicapped, terminally ill or patients with multi-system failures
- Treatment of mass causalities and disaster victims
- Simple procedures like wound suturing, incision and drainage, dressing, application of plaster of Paris casts
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, endotracheal intubation, securing central venous access,
- Poly -trauma and severe head injuries due to accidents, falls and assaults.
